Kane Keller, W-SR Wrestling
Finished first at W-SR’s district wrestling tournament at 126 pounds with a 1:03 fall in the quarterfinals, an 18-4 major decision in the semifinals and a 14-0 major decision in the finals. Advances to the state tournament alongside 11 other teammates.
Cody Koepke, Denver Wrestling
Finished first at the Cyclones’ district tournament at 215 pounds by securing three falls in 45 seconds or less. Advances to the state tournament alongside four other teammates.
Girls
Keke Smith, Janesville Basketball
Led the Wildcats with 21 points in their first round postseason matchup against Don Bosco on February 12. Smith shot 7-of-12 from the field in the game, including 5-of-9 on three-point shots.
Paige Kampman, Clarksville Basketball
Became Clarksville’s all-time leading scorer by scoring 36 points for the Indians in a win against GMG on February 6. Passes Abbey Hempen’s previous school record of 1,335 points set in 2007.
