For younger fans, spring training is an opportunity to learn and be inspired by their heroes on the field.

“I love how the baseball pitch is different. I love how there are different pitches,” said Hadley Garland. “Because if you go to baseball, then you see different stuff. And you can learn more stuff before softball.”

Dalton Venzke shared his admiration for the players’ skills.

“They are way smarter than just the normal baseball players, so watching them, like the way they move on the field, it helps,” he said.

Lifelong Braves fan April Cooper couldn’t contain her excitement for the new season.

Whether it’s meeting players, reconnecting with friends, or enjoying ballpark concessions, the spirit of the Braves is alive and well.

“Go, Braves!” cheered Cooper.
