The Tigers have reached the one-third point of the 2025 regular season with the best record (34-20, .630) in the American League — second only to the Phillies (34-19, .642) in all of MLB.

Can the Tigers carry their April and May momentum into October’s postseason?

Oddsmakers are confident that will be the case. At FanDuel Sportsbook, the Tigers are a -240 favorite to win the Central Division and +430 to win the American League, behind only the Yankees (+240).

The Tigers’ World Series odds are +1200, trailing the Dodgers (+250), Yankees (+600), Phillies (+950) and Mets (+1100).

At Bet MGM, the Tigers are -275 to win the Central and +400 to win the American League, again trailing only the Yankees (+250).

Bet MGM’s odds for the Tigers winning the World Series (+1000, tied with the Phillies) are better than FanDuel’s, but Detroit still trails the Dodgers (+250), Yankees (+650) and Mets (+900).
