MLB Spring training is officially in full swing as the Grapefruit League got underway this weekend.On Saturday, two teams that are based in Fort Myers faced off as the Minnesota Twins and Boston Red Sox had their first taste of action against another MLB team.From baseballs getting smacked to fans getting autographs, it was a wonderful afternoon at Hammond Stadium as the Twins and Red Sox faced off. While the game was just an exhibition and didn’t count, it was a great opportunity for some of the game’s stars to shake off the snow and get into baseball shape.Boston Red Sox OF Roman Anthony said, “It felt like it’s been a while but for me just getting out there with the guys and ultimately playing baseball was awesome, but also knowing the World Baseball Classic is around the corner so trying to take advantage of every at bat, really locking in and getting that feel back in the game and in the box and in the outfield as well.
