Well, it was another day of spring training baseball for the Texas Rangers as they traveled over to Camelback Ranch to take on the Chicago White Sox in yet another spring training showdown.

It was an interesting day for the Rangers who were on the road, but still had a mix of regulars sprinkled into the lineup.

However, the main story of the day came on the mound where new Texas Ranger McKenzie Gore made his second start of the spring, and it was a very, very good one.

Gore went three innings, allowing just three hits and no runs, striking out one.

His velo was really good, touching ninety-six and ninety-seven, and he threw, threw a lot of strikes, got a lot of ground balls.

Good outing for Gore.

Said he felt good, and was ready to move on to the next one, so that is a good sign there.

Also on the pitching front, following him, not so much of a good sign, Alexis Diaz, who only was able to go point two innings, allowing two hits and three runs, walked someone and a tough, tough day at the yard for Diaz.

Robert Garcia also pitched in this one, though, pitched a scoreless inning.

He will soon be leaving to play for Team Mexico in the World Baseball Classic, where he will pitch some more intense leverage innings.

And then Jacob Junis, new Ranger, also had a scoreless inning, and minor league invitee Josh Spors with a scoreless inning.

Offensively, like I said, not a day of full regulars with the Rangers being on the road, but there were certainly some mixed in.

You have Evan Carter, who, started the game in center field and led off.

he had a hit and a walk.

You had Jake Burger, who played first base in this game.

He had a base hit.

Josh Smith also played in this game, was able to draw a walk.

And then Michael Hellman and Alejandro Ozuna played left field and right field respectively.

Now, tomorrow, the Rangers will be back at Surprise Stadium, taking on the White Sox Camelback Ranch, friends, the Los Angeles Dodgers, the two-time defending champs.

It’ll be interesting to see what happens in that game.

And Jack Leiter will be on the bump.

And of course, we will be on it all.

God bless.

Jesus loves you in Rangers baseball.

It’s coming up.
