CLEMSON — Clemson baseball had five players and one signee selected in the 2024 MLB Draft.
The three pitchers and three position players who were drafted have signed deals with their respective clubs. They had until Aug. 1 to come to terms on a professional contract.

Players who were not selected have the option to sign as undrafted free agents for a maximum of $150,000. This could be a route pursued by players who are out of eligibility, like Jimmy Obertop and Jacob Hinderleider. Two Clemson commits — pitchers Dane Moehler and Talan Bell — participated in the MLB draft combine but were not taken too. They look to make an impact in their freshman season with the Tigers.
