The Florida State Seminoles baseball team went 4-0 last week, and the perfect week caused them to climb two spots to No. 15 in the latest USA TODAY Sports Coaches poll. They received 285 points. It is their second highest-ranking of the season after they entered as the No. 14 team in the country.

They improved to 8-2 with the wins and are now 6-0 at home this season. They opened the week with a 14-9 win over North Florida before sweeping their weekend series against The Citadel. They earned their first extra-innings win of the season, beating The Citadel 2-1 in 10 innings on Saturday.

The Seminoles are now the fifth-highest-ranked ACC team, behind the No. 5 Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets, No. 6 North Carolina Tar Heels, No. 12 Clemson Tigers, and No. 13 NC State Wolfpack. No. 16 Wake Forest and No. 21 Miami give them seven teams inside the top 25, the second most of any conference in the country.

FSU is set to have a busy week, playing midweek games against Jacksonville and Mercer on Tuesday and Wednesday, respectively. They will finish the week by hosting Northern Kentucky for a three-game series at Dick Howser Stadium. All five games will be streamed on ACC Network Extra.
