The Mets’ offense, even as they fell apart down the stretch, was amazing.

I believe from August 1 to the end of the year, they scored if not the most runs, then easily in the top three in all of baseball.

And I am gonna bank on Juan Soto being as consistent as anybody.

I’m gonna bank on Bo Bichette, when healthy, being as consistent as anybody.

Those two with Lindor at the top of the lineup is as good as it gets.

I’m as irrationally high on Carson Benge.

I think Francisco Alvarez was playing through stuff last season, and if he’s healthy, he can be a real difference maker.

And then I’m buying Brett Baty as a regular everyday player.

And I think that for everything that happened last year with the Mets, we– it just– we kind of forgot that Soto offensively was what he was supposed to be.

Yeah.

No, I mean, Soto for sure, but otherwise, I mean, Pete Alonso ain’t there anymore.

He’s a big part of that second half.

Nimmo, Mc I guess this is a totally different team.

So I think that the upside is there for them to be just as good, if not better, but just so much more risk involved that I was going to struggle to take the Mets too, too quickly here.

But they could just be a top three offense in baseball, for sure.

I mean, Soto, Soto’s gonna give you that, and I, I love Bo.

Sure.

But I don’t know.

It’s kind of terrifying.
