Bryce Eldridge believes he belongs in MLB.

The Giants’ top prospect explained why he is ready for consistent big-league action in appearing on 95.7 The Game’s “Willard and Dibs” on Friday.

“100 percent,” Eldridge told Mark Willard and Dan Dibley. “You know, I have full confidence in myself; I think that’s what’s gotten me to this point at a young age, just being sure of myself. And I’ve just really enjoyed being around these guys.

“I feel like I’ve gotten so much better this spring, especially on defense. And from what I saw last year, you know, I really felt like I belonged.”

The 21-year-old has slashed .273/.385/.636 with a 1.021 OPS through 10 spring training games in 2026 and carries high offensive expectations given his powerful potential at 6-foot-7 and 240 pounds.

Eldridge, whom the Giants selected with the No. 16 overall pick in the 2023 MLB Draft, played 10 games for San Francisco in 2025, collecting three hits and four RBI over 28 at-bats.

As one could expect, Eldridge is getting more comfortable as he goes, but he credited his work — particularly at first base — with Giants infield coach Ron Washington for giving him even more belief in his game.

“I mean, I think the big thing is kind of getting one under your belt, so you know what to expect at camp a little bit, and getting around the guys more; I think that’s just let me free up and kind of be myself more,” Eldridge said. “And being around Wash has been great. You know, I’ve been working on defense a lot with him. So I’m definitely at the plate feeling better, just more confident myself over two full years of pro ball. So it’s been good.

“I’ve gotten a lot better,” he added. “My footwork’s cleaned up, and that’s really freed up my glove … I’m giving major props to Ron Washington. He has us out there every day doing a lot of reps. And I think at this point in time, it’s just kind of natural instincts on defense, and not too much thinking … And I’ve done a lot of reps, done a lot better, but I think obviously I’m going to continue trying to get better, and I’m looking for a Gold Glove in the future. And I think Ron Washington’s definitely going to help with that.”

The future undoubtedly is bright for Eldridge.

And he believes his time is now.
