(Venice, FL) — The Minnesota Twins surrendered eight runs in the bottom of the first during a 9-8 Spring Training loss to the Atlanta Braves at CoolToday Park. Royce Lewis, Josh Bell, Gabriel Gonzalez, Tanner Schobel, and Jake Rucker all homered in the losing effort. Zebby Matthews allowed six runs in three-and-two-thirds innings. The Twins fell to 4-and-11 in exhibition play. Joe Ryan starts for Minnesota against Tampa Bay today.
