MLB player Ronny Simon had to wipe tears out of his eyes and didn’t return to the game after committing multiple errors.

The Padres rallied from a six-run deficit in the first inning to beat the Marlins at Petco Park.

Unfortunately for Simon, his three errors largely helped the Padres’ comeback in the game.

After all the blunders, which took place in the first four innings, the 25-year-old was seen leaving the field with the team in tears.

Simon was then replaced in the bottom of the fifth inning.

Fans reacted to Simon’s emotional moment on social media.

“Man I feel really bad for him,” one wrote.

“Ugh awful. Really hope he bounces back,” another commented.

“Poor guy,” a third added.

“So brutal to watch. I hope he’s OK. Hate that that happened to him, but I love seeing players who care that much,” a fourth said.

Simon’s first error occurred in the second inning when he could not field a groundball base hit from Tyler Wade.

The ball then went into foul territory as Simon then misfired to the plate, which led to another run to score to give the Marlins a 6-3 lead.

Then, Simons fielded Fernando Tatis Jr.’s groundball and tried to get Wade out at second, but he sailed his throw over shortstop Javier Sanoja’s head for another error.

He was replaced by Sanoja in the bottom of the fifth inning.

Otto Lopez then played at shortstop and took Simon’s spot in the batting order.

Simon finished 1-for-2 with an RBI.
