The Los Angeles Dodgers won their second game in a row Tuesday, taking a 4-1 win over the Arizona Diamondbacks at Camelback Ranch.

LA battled back for the second game in a row after an early blow, relying on solid pitching and consistent offense to get the job done.

Tyler Glasnow started his third game of spring training in the win, pitching 4.1 innings. He was nearly perfect outside of a first-inning leadoff homer from Jordan Lawlar, allowing a total of two hits and a walk while striking out five batters. He threw just 60 pitches in the outing.

The Dodgers bounced back quickly after the early sucker punch, with Freddie Freeman driving in Kyle Tucker with an RBI double in the first inning — a sight Dodger fans could get used to seeing.

LA’s next runs didn’t come until the bottom of the fourth inning, when Eliezer Alfonzo scored Andy Pages with a double of his own. Santiago Espinal crossed the plate shortly after when Miguel Rojas hit a chopper back to the pitcher.

James Tibbs III kept the ball rolling in the sixth inning, hitting a sacrifice fly to bring in Alex Call, who walked twice on the day and stole a base.

The Dodgers’ pitching and defense kept the Diamondbacks quiet through the final few innings of the game, with top prospect Zyhir Hope making an impressive catch during the eighth inning, and LA ultimately held onto their lead for the win.

Altogether, the Dodgers allowed just five hits on the day, striking out nine batters. Blake Treinen, Ben Casparius, Edgardo Henriquez and Chris Campos all put together scoreless outings following Glasnow’s exit from the game.

Mookie Betts and Freeman both went 2-for-3 in the match, and are showing good signs of improvement leading up to the season.

With the win, the Dodgers improve to 12-6, keeping them in second place in the Cactus League behind the San Francisco Giants. They get a well-deserved rest day Wednesday before resuming action against the Cincinnati Reds — who beat them in a high-scoring contest last Thursday — at 6:05 p.m. PT Thursday.

The next time the Dodgers and D-Backs will meet is Opening Day at Dodger Stadium, which comes Thursday, March 26.
