The Los Angeles Dodgers’ trip to the White House won’t happen next month during the team’s only scheduled road trip to Washington, D.C.
The Boys in Blue will be in the nation’s capital to face the Washington Nationals from April 3 to 5, but the Orange County Register‘s Bill Plunkett reports that “sources confirmed that the Dodgers will not visit the White House” during that time.

“Scheduling the traditional visit could be challenging this time around,” he added on social media.
Specifically, the game times against the Nationals make a daytime visit to the White House impossible.
Last year, the Dodgers were able to visit and celebrate with President Donald Trump.
Will the Dodgers Visit the White House at All?
All indications are the Dodgers will eventually make it to the White House to celebrate their 2025 World Series win.
Dodgers manager Dave Roberts said he will attend as a matter of tradition.
“I was raised — by a man who served our country for 30 years — to respect the highest office in our country. For me, it doesn’t matter who is in the office, I’m going to go to the White House. I’ve never tried to be political,” Roberts told the Los Angeles Times’ Bill Shaikin at DodgerFest. “For me, I am going to continue to try to do what tradition says and not try to make political statements, because I am not a politician.”

When Could the Dodgers Visit the White House?
As Plunkett notes, the Dodgers’ visit would likely have to wait until the summer.

After the All-Star break, the Dodgers have a nine-game road trip in New York City and Philadelphia.
“A side trip to D.C. before the July 17-19 series at Yankee Stadium would shorten the All-Star break by a day for Dodgers players – a sacrifice many would not likely endorse,” he wrote. “After three games in Philadelphia, however, the Dodgers have an off day before returning to New York for a three-game series against the Mets.”
That leaves an off day, Thursday, July 23, as the most likely time for the Boys in Blue to visit.
