STAR CITY — The hometown Malvern Lady Leopards took care of business once again on the road Tuesday and out-dueled the Star City Lady Bulldogs 9-2 in a non-conference softball encounter in Star City.
Malvern powered the offense by scoring nine runs on eight hits, while defensively held the Lady Bulldogs two runs on four hits.
Malvern’s Kendall Watson delivered another victory in the circle.
Watson pitched six scoreless innings of shutout ball, while allowing four hits, two runs and striking out seven batters, and threw 60 strikes, while facing 26 batters.
The Lady Leopards’ victory keeps the hometown performers undefeated at 4-0 thus far.
