RUSK – Rusk won its fourth game in its last-five outings Tuesday night at Eagle Park by taking down Huntington 6-2.
Maleki Overstreet, Trenton Pepin and Hunter Eckel forged two hits each to spark the Eagles.
Overstreet also drove in a pair of runs.
Jayden Rojo had a base hit and an RBI for the Red and Black.
Bently Moore drew the start on the mound and worked 6.1 frames, allowing two runs, both earned, on seven hits.
He walked three and struck out two Red Devils.
Moore moved to 2-0 for the season.
Logan Hoot pitched the final two-thirds of an inning and recorded one strike out and a walk.
Rusk is now 8-4-1, while Huntington owns a 10-5 worksheet.
At 1:30 p.m. Saturday, Rusk will entertain Tyler Legacy.
