The Bulldogs jumped out to a 6-0 lead and went on to win game two to even the series in Fayetteville, Arkansas.

Ace Reese had a home run, a double and five runs batted in for MSU.

There were no other Bulldogs with multiple hits or extra base hits.

Tomas Valincius pitched the first seven innings for MSU. He gave up no runs on two hits with seven strikeouts and only two walks.

Ben Davis worked the final innings on the mound for the Bulldogs.

MSU had a 16-3 going into game two of the doubleheader.
