Michael Wacha started the game, going 3.1 innings and giving up four earned runs with four hits and six strikeouts. Carter Jensen and Nick Loftin have been heavily relied on by Kansas City and answered the call on the offensive end. Jensen leads the team with three home runs, batting .296 with seven RBIs. Loftin paces Kansas City with 11 RBIs, adding two home runs, and batting .308.
