There was a slight shakeup in the top 10 with Georgia Tech moving from No. 5 to No. 3 after its series win at Clemson and Arkansas jumping from No. 8 to No. 5 after taking two of three over Mississippi State in Fayetteville. The Bulldogs, meanwhile, fell from No. 3 to No. 6.
Southern Miss dropped six spots, from No. 6 to No. 12, after losing a series at Arkansas State.
Three teams fell out of the rankings: Wake Forest, all the way from No. 14, after going 0-4, including a series sweep at home to Florida State; LSU (No. 21), after losing two of three at Vanderbilt; and UTSA (No. 25), after a series loss to UT-Arlington.
They were replaced by Kentucky (No. 18), Oregon (No. 24) and Arizona State (No. 25).
