Shohei Ohtani homered for the third consecutive game, and the Los Angeles Dodgers beat the Cleveland Guardians 9-5 at Cleveland Tuesday night.

Ohtani hit a two-run homer in the fourth inning off Tanner Bibee for Ohtani’s 20th home run of the year. Max Muncy hit a three-run home run off Nic Enright in the ninth.

Both homers came with two outs.

The New York Yankees beat the Los Angeles Angels 3-2 in Anaheim Tuesday night. The Angels have lost four straight. The San Diego Padres beat the Miami Marlins 8-6 at San Diego. 

At press time Wednesday, the Dodgers led the Guardians 3-1 in the bottom of the sixth inning. The Padres were to play the Marlins, and the Angels were to face the Yankees later that day.

The Dodgers, Angels and Padres are all off Thursday.
