Cincinnati Reds All-Star starting pitcher Andrew Abbott has partnered with Cincinnati Bengals center Ted Karras to benefit a great cause.Abbott joined Karras and his Cincy Hat Foundation to benefit the Joe Nuxhall Foundation.The hats, which feature red and white colors, along with Abbott and Nuxhall’s names on the side, have already sold out, though customers can pre-order for when they’re available again.Each purchase of the hat will directly support the Joe Nuxhall Character Education Fund, which works to give character education programs to Greater Cincinnati students.Karras’ work with his Cincy Hat Foundation has benefitted the Village of Merici, a non-profit living community and service provider for adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities based in his hometown of Indianapolis.Karras signed with the Bengals as a free agent in 2022 and started his nonprofit shortly after joining the team.
