MLB’s popular Spring Breakout series kicks off this week with an intriguing slate of games featuring some of baseball’s top prospects.

Here’s a look at the top 10 prospects who will be playing in this year’s Spring Breakout, as ranked on Baseball America Top 100 Prospects list.

Konnor Griffin, SS, Pirates

BA Top 100: No. 1

Game: Tigers at Pirates, March 19, 7:35 p.m. ET  (MLBN, SNP & Amazon)

Scouting Report: Griffin’s ascension in 2025 is a franchise-altering development for an organization that has struggled to produce quality big league hitters since Andrew McCutchen and needs to find a running mate to pair with Paul Skenes. Even if Griffin’s pure hitting ability gets tested, his power, speed and defense give him multiple paths to provide star-level value while having the upside of an MVP-caliber shortstop. A big league debut in 2026 isn’t out of the question for Griffin, who doesn’t turn 20 until late April.

JJ Wetherholt, SS, Cardinals

BA Top 100: No. 3

Game: Nationals at Cardinals, March 18, 4:30 p.m. ET (MLB App)

Scouting Report: Wetherholt will likely break camp with the Cardinals to begin 2026 and could be the long-term answer at multiple positions on the infield. He’s a star in the making and the best hitter the Cardinals have produced in a decade.

Jesús Made, SS, Brewers

BA Top 100: No. 4

Games: Mariners at Brewers, March 20, 5:10 p.m. ET (MLBN) and Brewers at Athletics, March 22, 4:05 p.m. ET (MLBN & Amazon)

Scouting Report: Made could follow in the footsteps of Jackson Chourio as a Brewers international signing who reaches the major leagues as a 20-year-old and develops into a franchise cornerstone. Wherever he ends up in the infield, Made could be a perennial all-star. He should start 2026 in Double-A Biloxi.

Max Clark, OF, Tigers

BA Top 100: No. 5

Game: Tigers at Pirates, March 19, 7:35 p.m. ET  (MLBN, SNP & Amazon)

Scouting Report: Scouts notice Clark’s attention to detail before and during games, and that approach carries over to off-the-field work. He has to be dragged out of the batting cage and he has worked to pack as much muscle as his frame can hold. Clark’s plate discipline, swing decisions and well-rounded game should fit in Detroit at some point in 2026—and for many years to come.

Colt Emerson, SS, Mariners

BA Top 100: No. 7

Game: Mariners at Brewers, March 20, 5:10 p.m. ET (MLBN)

Scouting Report: The Mariners aren’t an organization that rushes players to the majors, so some extra seasoning at Double-A could be in store for Emerson before a full-time Triple-A residency. He played primarily shortstop, but staying versatile at third base will help his chances of getting into the lineup quicker. His all-around skill set makes him one of the game’s best prospects.

Leo De Vries, SS, Athletics

BA Top 100: No. 12

Game: Brewers at Athletics, March 22, 4:05 p.m. ET (MLBN & Amazon)

Scouting Report: De Vries has one of the highest ceilings of any prospect in baseball, evoking comparisons to Francisco Lindor for his switch-hitting ability and two-way impact. His offensive profile will hinge on how much power comes as he matures, but he has all-star potential with a knack for maximizing his best-struck contact once he cleans up the finer points of his game. De Vries should return to Double-A to begin 2026, but the A’s aren’t afraid to push prospects aggressively.

Eduardo Quintero, OF, Dodgers

BA Top 100: No. 20

Game: White Sox at Dodgers, March 21, 6:30 p.m. ET (MLBN, CHSN & Amazon)

Scouting Report: Given the glut of outfielders in the Dodgers’ system and the organization’s unlimited checkbook, Quintero will have to continue proving himself at every stop if he wants to be part of the club’s long-term future. He will likely start back at High-A in 2026 but should get to the upper levels in short order. If everything clicks, he could be an everyday center fielder who provides value on both sides of the ball.

Josue De Paula, OF, Dodgers

BA Top 100: No. 24

Game: White Sox at Dodgers, March 21, 6:30 p.m. ET (MLBN, CHSN & Amazon)

Scouting Report: De Paula will likely return to Double-A to begin 2026. With early, sustained success, he could make his big league debut late in the season and has a chance to settle in as a masher.

Kade Anderson, LHP, Mariners

BA Top 100: No. 25

Game: Mariners at Brewers, March 20, 5:10 p.m. ET (MLBN)

Scouting Report: Anderson is a high-probability starter with a blend of strikes and stuff that gives him No. 2 or 3 starter upside. He has the polish and pedigree to move quickly, perhaps even reaching Seattle by the end of 2026, though the Mariners won’t need to rush him considering they have one of baseball’s best rotations.

Caleb Bonemer, SS, White Sox

BA Top 100: No. 27

Game: White Sox at Dodgers, March 21, 6:30 p.m. ET (MLBN, CHSN & Amazon)

Scouting Report: While Bonemer faces questions as to his ultimate position on the field, his bat is real and profiles him as a potential above-average regular. He’ll return to High-A Winston-Salem in 2026 and has a chance to reach the upper minors later in the season.
