Recently retired outfielder Kevin Kiermaier, a four-time Gold Glove Award winner, is joining MLB Network as a studio analyst. 

Kiermaier retired with the Los Angeles Dodgers after helping them win the 2024 World Series. He’ll make his debut on MLB Tonight after Major League Baseball’s Opening Night between the New York Yankees and San Francisco Giants on March 25 alongside Adnan Virk and Chris Young.

Kiermaier, 35, has recently served in special assistant roles with the Toronto Blue Jays and Tampa Bay Rays, the two teams with whom he spent the majority of his 12-year playing career.

Kiermaier will also work the studio desk on MLB Central and MLB Now on Opening Day on March 26. He will also be seen on MLB Tonight: National Pregame Show alongside Greg Amsinger, Dan Plesac and Harold Reynolds on March 27.

“Joining MLB Network is a very exciting next step for me,” Kiermaier said in a statement released by the network.

“I’ve always loved studying the game, especially on the defensive side, and this role gives me the chance to share everything I’ve learned over my career. I’m looking forward to highlighting parts of the game that don’t always show up in the box score but make a real impact on the field.” 

Kiermaier recently worked as a guest analyst with MLB Network in February.

A 31st-round draft pick by the Rays in 2010, Kiermaier retired with 905 career hits, 499 runs scored, 378 RBIs, and 132 stolen bases across 1,159 major league games.
