DONALDSON — The Ouachita Warriors had a tough conference opener battle on their home field Tuesday falling to the Junction City Dragons 12-1 in baseball competition at Warrior Field.
The Warriors tallied a run in the bottom half of the fourth and finished the contest collecting four hits of productive offense against the Dragons in a seventh inning battle.
Although the Dragons were held scoreless through the second inning, Junction City were the first to get on the board in the third when an error scored two runs. The Dragons added two more runs in the top half of the fourth, then scored three in the fifth, one in the sixth and routed in four runs in the seventh.
Junction City tallied 12 runs on 11 hits against the Warriors.
