Opening Day for Major League Baseball is almost here, but if you’re more into ballpark food than the actual game, wait until you see the new menu items the Chicago White Sox are serving up this season!

Full disclosure, I consider myself a neutral baseball fan. By that I mean, I’ll root for both Chicago baseball teams to win, which is difficult considering most of the people I know are Chicago Cubs fans.

My perfect day at the ballpark involves good weather, yummy snacks, cold beer, and top notch people watching. I can have a blast at Wrigley and Rate Field, but right now, the Chicago White Sox certainly have my attention, and it is all thanks to food.

Chicago White Sox Unveil New Menu Items for 2026

This might be a very ‘Cubs fan’ thing to say, but the White Sox are clearly leaning into the idea that if the wins don’t come easy, the food absolutely should.

Don’t these new food options look delicious?!

The new 2026 menu items at Rate Field include:

A foot-long fajita dog.A street food specialty from Mexico called the Machete. The Two Bagger Smashburger. An even bigger Campfire Milkshake that’s meant to be shared.A Tonkatsu Dog, which is a Vienna Beef hot dog covered with panko, Kewpie mayo, teriyaki sauce, and Japanese bonito flakes. And…a Chicago food mashup box that includes a Vienna Beef hot dog, Buona Italian beef, charred kielbasa, chips, and Garrett’s popcorn.

Is your mouth watering yet? Mine certainly is, and I don’t even want to think about how much these new menu items cost.

I think all baseball fans will agree that the White Sox are knocking it out of the park when it comes to food this season…hopefully the team’s bats will too.
