Webull Takes Over Rays Jersey Patch in Historic 2026 Deal
ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. – The Tampa Bay Rays have officially named online investment platform Webull as their corporate jersey patch partner for the 2026 season. This announcement marks a significant expansion of a relationship that began last year, following Webull’s decision to move its U.S. headquarters to St. Petersburg in late 2022.
While jersey patch sponsorships have been a staple of Major League Baseball since 2023, this specific collaboration stands out for its unique design.
The patch itself incorporates material from the Tropicana Field roof that was famously shredded during Hurricane Milton in 2024. This design choice serves as a direct tribute to the region’s recovery efforts.
“This partnership represents more than just a logo on a jersey. It is a commitment to the community,” said Carlos Questell, Head of Strategic Partnerships at Webull. “Since establishing our U.S. headquarters in St. Petersburg, we’ve focused on building meaningful connections with the Tampa Bay community. Our collaboration with the Rays allows us to engage with fans in a way that reflects the resilience and energy of this region while continuing to expand awareness of Webull’s platform.”

The financial and social impact of the partnership has already been established. Throughout the 2025 season, the two organizations raised $20,000 for local hurricane relief through fan-driven account initiatives. These funds supported a service project in Pinellas County aimed at restoring a home damaged by storms.
Rays Chief Business Officer Bill Walsh noted that the deal aligns with the team’s long-term goals. “We’re proud to announce Webull, an organization that shares our commitment to excellence and innovation, as our jersey patch partner ahead of the 2026 season,” Walsh said. “This partnership also reflects our shared belief in creating meaningful experiences on and off the field and will help us to continue investing in our fans and the future.”
