WSU’s Revitt earns All-America accolades
ATLANTA — Washington State sophomore Darcy Revitt closed the NCAA Championships with All-America second-team honors in the 100-yard freestyle.
Revitt completed the race in 47.46 seconds — the 16th best time in the country in the event to earn her first career All-America accolade after posting a 21.81 in the 50 free prelims, breaking her own school record, on Friday.
Earlier in the week, senior Emily Lundgren earned All-America second-team honors in the 200 breast after posting a 2:08.13 to place No. 15 in the prelims.
With three points, WSU finished in 42nd place.
Lundgren and Revitt are the first set of Cougar swimmers to earn All-America honors in the same season while Revitt is the first Cougar All-American in the 100 Free.
