No, this has nothing to do with the NCAA men’s basketball tournament. But Alabama and Nebraska, two teams that posted big wins on the hardwood (one lopsided, one in a thriller), jump into the college baseball top 25 this week. Alabama swept Florida, highlighted by a no-hitter from Tyler Fay on Friday night, while Nebraska took two of three at Michigan to improve to 18-6 overall and 5-1 in the Big Ten.

Florida (swept by Alabama) and Clemson (swept by Notre Dame) fell out of the ranking.

There was some slight movement in the top five. Auburn moved up one spot despite losing two of three at home to Texas. The reason? The Tigers beat Georgia Tech on Tuesday, 9-2, at Plainsman Park. Yes, it was just a midweek game, but results do matter. The Yellow Jackets, who won a series at Pitt, dropped to No. 4. There was no other movement in the top 10.
