There is so much excitement and buzz around baseball in Seattle this year. The 2026 Seattle Mariners season will be the 50th in franchise history, with Opening Day set for Thursday, March 26, 2026, at T-Mobile Park against the Cleveland Guardians.

The regular season runs through September 27, 2026, and aside from a stellar roster of players, there will be a variety of fun promotions and fireworks shows along the way.

The Mariners are entering 2026 with a ton of momentum after one of the best seasons in franchise history — winning the American League West and advancing to Game 7 of the ALCS in 2025. This season, the Mariners hope to push deeper into October with hopes of reaching the World Series for the first time in franchise history. We can do it!

Steelhead Sundays

The team will be wearing Seattle Steelheads uniforms every Sunday home game this season, as they honor the past and pay tribute to the 1946 Seattle Negro League team. The Mariners will invest in the future with the Steelheads Community Fund and a $500,000 commitment to support local Black-led baseball and softball organizations and community initiatives. Proceeds from Steelheads merchandise sales and Sunday home game 50/50 raffles will help support the fund.

Honoring the Big Unit

Saturday, May 2nd is Randy Johnson’s Retirement Ceremony of No. 51. Johnson’s number will be the fifth retired in Mariners’ history, joining fellow Hall of Famers Ken Griffey Jr. (#24), Edgar Martinez (#11), Ichiro Suzuki (#51)—and league-wide—Jackie Robinson (#42).

Cal Raleigh Bobblehead Night

Who can forget the incredible 2025 season Cal Raleigh had?! In commemoration of his home run bonanza, there will be a Cal Raleigh 60 home run bobblehead night on Saturday, March 28th.

Bark at the Park

Grab a seat for you and your four-legged friend and enjoy a night of baseball together at Bark at the Park. Plus, don’t miss your chance to run the bases with your dog after the game. All dogs must have a human join them and multiple dogs may not be brought by one human. There will be six Bark at the Park dates this season: March 27, April 20, May 18, June 29, August 4 and September 3rd.

For the kids or the kid at heart:

Sometimes it is as much about the baseball game as the cute merchandise you get to take home from the game. Monday, March 30 is Hello Kitty Night. Join the fun and walk away with a Mariners’ themed Hello Kitty squish pillow. Monday, May 4 is Star Wars Night, where you can take home a Grogu bobblehead and encounter some of your favorite Star Wars characters around the ballpark that evening.

Ichiro Replica Statue Night

The Seattle Mariners will unveil a brand-new Ichiro Suzuki statue outside T-Mobile Park on Friday, April 10. Ichiro had his No. 51 retired in a ceremony last August and joins Griffey and Martinez in having statues outside T-Mobile Park.

Humpy Shoulder Plush Night

Humpy is a beloved, cross-eyed pink salmon mascot for the Seattle Mariners who famously lost 167 consecutive “Salmon Run” races before his first victory in October 2025, during a 15th-inning ALDS game. On Saturday, April 11, you can get your hands on your very own good luck charm and cult icon to wear to future games.

Pay Tribute to 2001 Mariners Team

The Seattle Mariners will commemorate the 116-game-winning 2001 team and honor the 25th anniversary of the tragic events on Friday, September 11 with a new statue at T-Mobile Park. The statue will feature Mike Cameron and Mark McLemore in their iconic moment raising the American flag on Sept. 19 following the Mariners’ clinch of the American League West title. Midway through a sold-out game against the Angels on September 19, the Mariners learned that Texas had beaten Oakland, making the Mariners the first team to clinch their division championship. Players and coaches congratulated one another in the dugout, and fans cheered when the news was announced mid-game on the scoreboard.

Fireworks shows

The Seattle Mariners will host several post-game fireworks shows. The 10-minute, choreographed shows start fifteen minutes after the final out of the game. The fireworks shows will take place on Fridays, May 29, June 19, July 3, July 17, July 31, August 21, September 4 and September 25.

50 Seasons Celebration Night

On Saturday, August 8, the Top 50 Greatest Mariners Players will be unveiled and honored in a pregame ceremony. Be part of a truly historic night at T-Mobile Park as they reveal and honor the Top 50 Greatest Mariners Players—chosen by fans, media and staff—during a special pregame ceremony. Don’t miss your chance to witness the most iconic gathering of Mariners greats in franchise history.

Ballpark Menu

And, of course, we can’t forget the food! The Seattle Ferry Souvenir tray is going to be a hot item at games this season, along with commemorative cups, new sweet treats and a fresh Value Menu — plus, the famed Hot Dogs From Heaven.
