ST. LOUIS—Looking to entice the next generation of fans and their parents, the Saint Louis Cardinals revamped its Kids’ Club and Sunday experience.
Kids Sundays
“We are going to have all kinds of fun things happening but Sundays during the summer we would have kids club parties and it is going to be so much fun,” said Megan Eberhart, Director of Promotions, St. Louis Cardinals.
Kids Sundays feature parties with a DJ, activities and crafts for families at Ford Plaza behind the outfield. On select days, pre-teens will have a chance to run the bases and perhaps begin their Major League aspirations.
Kids Club: Rookie Membership
The new free tier — the Rookie Membership — includes free tickets, exclusive giveaways, discounts and more.
“It was just time for us to reevaluate ours and I really think it’s important whenever there’s so many other opportunities for kids to get involved in different things, the world has changed, and so I think we need to capture them as a Cardinals fans as young as we can to make sure that they’re fans for life.”
Young Cards’ fans will enjoy free VR and speed pitch in the Hi-Chew Family Pavilion too. The paid tier — the All-Star Membership — awards holders a badge to the front of the line access for kids around the bases, a Fredbird plush that sits on your should, a lunchbox, a t-shirt and a water bottle. All-Stars also receive additional free tickets.
