SCORE: Twins 15, Red Sox 6

RECORD: 13-16

BREAKDOWN: The Sox wrapped up spring training with a very spring training-ish game at Hammond Stadium, struggling to track wind-blown popups against the cloudless Southwest Florida sky while featuring pitching performances where the effort to build mound stamina was more important than the results. Ranger Suarez allowed eight runs on nine hits in 4â…“ innings but pronounced himself physically ready for the start of the 2026 regular season. Masataka Yoshida (2 for 3, double) had his second straight multi-hit game to close out the spring.

NEXT: The Sox play the first of 162 regular-season games Thursday in Cincinnati. Garrett Crochet will take the mound at 4:10 p.m. against the Reds’ Andrew Abbott.
