LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) — Louisville Slugger Museum & Factory is getting ready for Major League Baseball’s Opening Day.

WDRB’s Keith Kaiser visits the downtown attraction before the big party.

Celebrate the start of the 2026 MLB season at the Slugger Museum on Thursday, March 26.

Enjoy a DJ, balloon artist, inflatables, free hot dogs and popcorn, and a showing of the Pittsburgh Pirates vs. New York Mets game at 1:15 p.m. All of this is included with regular museum admission.

Plus, Slugger Museum is re-launching its bourbon experience. Formerly known as Barrels & Billets, Big Bat Bourbon is Louisville’s only create-and-bottle-your-own bourbon experience.
