The National League West sent two teams to the postseason in each of the previous six years. The San Diego Padres accounted for four of those, with the San Francisco Giants and Arizona Diamondbacks making it once each since 2020.

This year, the Dodgers are in excellent shape to make the postseason for a 14th season in a row. That would tie the Atlanta Braves (1991-2005) for the longest streak in MLB history. As of Tuesday night, the Dodgers have a 99-percent chance to make the playoffs per FanGraphs, while Baseball Prospectus has them all the way at 100 percent. The rest of the division includes three teams hovering near break-even plus the Rockies pulling up the rear.

Padres 34.2% BP, 22.5% FG

D-backs 20.2% BP, 33.7% FG

There are three division winners and three wild card berths in each league. So today’s question is who are the six National League teams that will make the postseason in 2026?

I’ll start: Dodgers, Cubs, Mets, Braves, Phillies, Giants.
