Earlier this offseason, the St. Louis Cardinals became one of several teams to put their television broadcast rights under Major League Baseball’s umbrella.
Moving forward, Cardinals games will be produced by MLB’s in-house broadcast production team. Cardinals fans who are in-market can purchase Cardinals TV for $99.99 for the season. This gives Cardinals fans the ability to watch online or through smart television apps like MLB.tv.

However, if you want to watch the Cardinals on traditional television, you’re in luck. The team made a series of announcements on Wednesday about which channels will air the games in 2026.
If you are a Charter/Spectrum or Comcast/Xfinity customer, the information on the channels is listed below. If you use another service, there will be more information on Thursday in advance of the Opening Day contest with the Tampa Bay Rays.
The Cardinals are not the only team to have a fanbase frustrated by the “where to watch the games on TV” question. The Seattle Mariners are in the same boat, with fans also expressing dismay at the lack of television transparency.

–The Cardinals have set their Opening Day roster in advance of Thursday’s opener. Top prospect JJ Wetherholt is on the roster and ready to make his major league debut. Outfielder Lars Nootbaar has been put on the 60-day injured list as he continues to recover from offseason double heel surgery. There had been trade chatter this offseason around Nootbaar, but that will be on hold until he returns from injury – and shows he is healthy and productive.
–Speaking of roster news: This roster fact about the Cardinals will blow your mind. It goes to show just how much has changed for the organization in the last calendar year.
