This Thursday, March 26, the Houston Astros take the field at Daikin Park to face off against the Los Angeles Angels for their 2026 season opener. Heights & Co. is serving its Stros Smash Burger, a double patty with American cheese, house-made pickles, aioli, and fries with spicy ketchup. Sam Bar is offering the Sam’s Bacon Burger with fries and a 12‑ounce Modelo draft for $25, plus happy hour from 4  to 7 pm with $3 draft beers and $6 martinis, available daily throughout the season.

This Opening Day, Xochi is inviting fans to enjoy the GoStros Rita for $10, made with tequila, orange liqueur, Campari and peach nectar with a tea-infused salt rim. The happy hour menu starts two hours before first pitch and includes bites like tostada de camaron, taquitos dorados and costillas de puerco.

Zaranda, 1550 Lamar

On Astros home game days, Zaranda serves the Crush City Rita for $10, made with chile de arbol–infused mezcal, pasilla-morita-ancho–infused orange liqueur, mango-carrot juice, lime and chiles torreados syrup.
