PHOENIX, Ariz. (KVOA) – The Arizona Diamondbacks season is underway, and fans are flocking to Chase Field to gear up for the months ahead.
Fans have been filing into the team shop all day, shopping for everything from baseballs to jerseys. While the desert dugouts are empty now, they won’t be for long.
“We usually come to about five or six games a season, sometimes more,” Rodriguez said.
Many fans spent their day at Chase Field buying tickets and merchandise in preparation for the season. Some came with specific shopping lists in mind.
“I particularly came shopping for my two hats for the season and my t-shirt of salvation for July,” Brimous said.
Doors open at Chase Field for the first time this season on the 30th when the Snakes take on the Detroit Tigers. Until then, fans will continue shopping for gear to show their support for the team in downtown Phoenix.
