What time is the game? Any tickets still available? We’ve got all your answers for Braves Opening Day.
ATLANTA — It’s back again, folks: The sound of the crack of the bat, the smell of the fresh-cut grass, and… the, uh, taste of a three-pound burger.
But most important of all, it’s the sight of baseball returning Friday night to Atlanta. The Braves host the Kansas City Royals at Truist Park on Friday night for Opening Day, kicking off a season that — despite some pitching-injury anxiety already — carries with it high expectations.
Here’s everything you need to know for Friday night:
Braves Opening Day | The three Ts: Time, TV, Tickets
Time: 7:15 p.m.TV: BravesVision, which for now is available on Xfinity and Spectrum cable plans; you can also get Braves.TV for streaming (which currently starts with a free trial)Tickets: There’s a bit availability still on the team’s official Ticketmaster outlet, starting at a little over $40 for standing room only tickets and $55 for 400 level seats.
Parking and planning your ride
11Alive’s Doug Turnbull has a great overview already published here, which highlights localized on-the-go options like the Cumberland Circulator that can take you from Cumberland Mall to The Battery or the bike taxis operating around the ballpark.
CobbLinc’s bus system also provides free parking at the Marietta park-and-ride with direct bus access then going to Windy Ridge Parkway by the stadium.
If you are driving and parking, you can check out pricing here. Your cheapest option for Opening Day is just shy of $30.
What else is going on?
Well, you’ll see Chris Sale on the hill against Kansas City’s Cole Ragans, for starters.
After that, you’ll want to check out this guide that 11Alive’s Reeves Jackson prepared this week after visiting Truist Park for the team’s media day. It covers everything new the Brave are doing in 2026: Details about BravesVision, a new section and new lighting at the stadium, promotions and giveaways to know for the season, and new food and beverage offerings (including that three-pound burger).
