Mariners reliever Casey Legumina answers the toughest questions of his career. Will he dance when asked about his signature moves?
SEATTLE — To start off the 2026 Seattle Mariners campaign, KING 5’s Farah Jadran stopped by the team’s clubhouse to help you get to know your hometown team better.
This week, right-handed relief pitcher and Gonzaga alum Casey Legumina stepped off the mound to take a five-question Q&A.
What do you love most about Mariners fans and Seattle?
I would say the energy and just the crowd every night.
What TV shows or series have you been watching the most?
Recently I’ve been watching the F1: Drive to Survive. Formula One’s out, and I’d like to catch up on some Formula One stuff.
If you could have a superpower, what would it be?
I would like to be able to fly just so I can get to places quicker.
Who is the best cat in the world?
Do you have a signature dance move, and can you show us?
I personally don’t have a celebratory dance move. Usually we just kind of let it flow when the music’s going in there after the game and you just kind of let your body move and do what it wants. So maybe you’re a shoulder, maybe a few shoulders, or I’ll do my brother’s favorite move.
Who has the best eyes on the team?
I’m gonna say Cal (Raleigh) just because I like looking at him from the mound.Â
