CLEVELAND, Ohio (WOIO) – Just like in Game 1 of the Guardians series in Seattle, Chase DeLauter got a solo homer to get them started. Unlike in Game 1, the pitching could not make it last.
Gavin Williams labored through five innings, walking six batters and giving up a pair of hits including a three run homer by Cole Young in the bottom of the 4th.
Luke Raley added a two run blast off Colin Holderman in the 6th inning to put the game to bed. The Mariners won it 5-1.
