Mizzou softball earned a 3-0 win against Auburn in its first game of the weekend on Friday in Auburn, Alabama. The win marked just its second of SEC play.

Kayley Lenger kicked off the scoring for the Tigers with a ball to left field that sent Abby Carr home during the second inning.

Madison Uptegrove notched her second home run of the season in the fourth frame to put Mizzou up 2-0. She struck again in the sixth to earn the final run for Missouri.

A swift double play sealed the second consecutive Mizzou win after a mid-week victory over SIUE.

Cierra Harrison stayed hot with a no-hitter through five frames adding four strikeouts.

Missouri (17-18) will continue its series looking for its first conference series win against Auburn at 2 p.m. tomorrow at Jane B. Moore Field in Auburn, Alabama.
