A quick two-game winning streak has the Brewers back at .500. They’ll try to build on that Tuesday night in game two against the Houston Astros.
Chad Patrick is back on the mound after a good day against the White Sox. He pitched well through 5 2⁄3 innings, allowing just one run in a rough first inning. However, he couldn’t get the last out in the sixth inning, allowing two singles before Craig Yoho came in. Yoho allowed a home run that accounted for Patrick’s other two runs allowed, charging him with three runs allowed in the start. Before that start, he had not allowed more than two runs in any of his starts this season.
With Sal Frelick still day-to-day following his knee injury, the Brewers are starting Jake Bauers in right field for the second straight night. Isaac Collins and Jackson Chourio fill out the Brewers outfield in left and center, respectively. Brice Turang is back in the lineup after a day off, with Caleb Durbin sliding back over to third base.
First pitch is set for 6:40 p.m. The game is on the usual stations: FanDuel Sports Network Wisconsin and the Brewers Radio Network.
