On Saturday, the Boston Red Sox will play their second game of the season when they face off against the Reds in Cincinnati.
They are coming off a 3-0 victory over the Reds (on Thursday).
Red Sox Make New Roster Decision Before Reds Game

Before the season began, the Red Sox released Brendan Rodgers (who is currently injured).
That said, Chris Hatfield of SoxProspects.com reported the news that the franchise has brought him back on a new (Minor League) deal.
Hatfield wrote: “After being released earlier this week, veteran IF Brendan Rodgers has re-signed with the Red Sox on a two-year minor league deal. Allows him to rehab his shoulder surgery and stay with the team thru 2027.”
