They are coming off a 5-3 victory over the Rangers (on Opening Day).

Before Saturday’s game, the Phillies announced that they had made a roster move.
Todd Zolecki of MLB.com wrote: “The Phillies announced that Garrett Stubbs has cleared waivers and has been outrighted to Triple-A Lehigh Valley. Stubbs could have elected free agency, but he signed a split contract in the offseason that will pay him $575,000 in the Minors.”

Stubbs has been with the Phillies for the last four years.
He is coming off a season where he appeared in five games.
