The MLB season is officially underway. There are far more ways to get involved in the action than just via traditional betting. One of the more unique features on DraftKings this year is Pick6 Fantasy Baseball!

Here are my top Pick6 plays for today’s MLB slate.

Pete Crow-Armstrong More Than 1.5 Total Bases

Pete Crow-Armstrong had a breakout 2025 season, making his first All-Star team and finishing in ninth place in NL MVP voting. Crow-Armstrong is hoping to duplicate that level of success in 2026. It was a good start for the young centerfielder on Opening Day, going 2-for-5 with two RBIs. In this second game of the season, Crow-Armstrong will be ecstatic to be facing off against Miles Mikolas. Rarely will you ever find more dominant head-to-head numbers from a batter against a certain pitcher. Crow-Armstrong has faced Mikolas nine times in his career and is 7-for-9 with five home runs. With a sample size of nine at-bats, Crow-Armstrong has hit a home run more often than not against Mikolas. After starting with a multi-hit Opening Day, it’s hard to imagine Crow-Armstrong not continuing his domination of Miles Mikolas.

Eury Perez More Than 6.5 Strikeouts Thrown

Eury Perez missed all of 2024 after undergoing Tommy John surgery. He came back with a solid 2025 campaign, but is hoping to grow on it this year. Perez will probably be happy to be making his first start of the year in Miami since he was significantly better at home last year. In Miami, Perez had a 2.93 ERA, contrasting a 5.33 ERA on the road. His strikeout numbers were also much better, striking out 10.7 batters per nine innings in Miami compared to 9.3 strikeouts per nine on the road. Perez will also face a lineup that strikes out a lot. The Rockies struck out the second-most of any lineup in baseball last season. In this comfortable home start against a strikeout-prone lineup, Perez should start the season strong. He should throw at least seven strikeouts against the Rockies.

Brett Baty More Than 0.5 Hits

Brett Baty and the Mets started the MLB season with a bang. They faced the reigning NL Cy Young winner, Paul Skenes, at Citi Field on Opening Day. The Mets’ lineup was not bothered by Skenes’ world-class stuff, forcing him to get pulled from the game in the first inning. That was partially due to some fielding issues as well, but the Mets’ lineup top-to-bottom was sharp. New York ended with 11 hits and 11 runs scored. Brett Baty played an important part in that win, hitting a 3-RBI triple off Skenes in the first inning. Baty should keep it rolling on Saturday against Mitch Keller. Baty is 3-for-7 with a double and a home run in his career against Keller. He was much better against right-handed pitching last year, sporting a 104 tOPS+ against righties in 2025. Baty was also much better at Citi Field last season with a 133 tOPS+ at home in 2025. Baty should extend his hitting streak to two games to start the season.

Create a Pick Set by choosing 2+ players from the same sport and Pick Group (a set of picks available from a group of competitions). For each player, simply select if you think they’ll have more or less than their listed stat projection. In each Pick Set, you can not pick the same player twice, and you must pick players from at least two different teams.

Enter an Amount

Once you finalize your Pick Set, choose your entry fee amount. Your entries will be automatically distributed into available contests, subject to your confirmation.

Sweat Your Picks

When the games go live, use the My Picks tab to follow your picks in real time to track how your players are performing against their projections and how they stack up against other users.

Compete for Prizes

Make enough correct picks and win a share of the contests’ guaranteed prizes. Any prizes won will be credited to your DraftKings account after contests are finalized.
