The St. Louis Cardinals enter the 2026 season with a new-look roster, new leadership and brand-new ways to watch the team.

On Thursday—opening day—the team announced new television channels for the upcoming season after ending its partnership with FanDuel Sports Network. Most Cardinals games will now be produced by Major League Baseball.

People who live within the Cardinals’ television territory will be able to watch games through traditional cable or satellite providers. Depending on which service you use, the channels vary:

Charter/Spectrum – Channel 233AT&T U-verse – Channel 1746DirecTV/DirecTV Stream – Channel 672Comcast/Xfinity – Channel 1261 Fubo

Several regional cable providers are also included. However, several major services were left off the initial list, including YouTube TV, Dish Network, Hulu and Sling.

Subscribers to those services, and fans in the region without a traditional cable, satellite or included streaming service, can purchase a standalone package directly from Cardinals.TV. The direct-to-consumer option costs $19.99 per month or $99.99 per year and includes access to all games not selected for national broadcasts.

If you live outside the Cardinals’ television footprint, the easiest way to watch the team is to buy a subscription to MLB.TV, which costs $29.99 per month or $149.99 for the season.

While the channels may be changing, the broadcast team is staying largely the same. Fans will still hear the familiar voices of play-by-play announcer Chip Caray and analyst Brad Thompson, along with in-stadium reporter Jim Hayes. The team will also produce “Cardinals Live” with pregame and postgame coverage.
