Logan Webb didn’t need many words to respond to a fan’s jab on X.

After a post highlighting Framber Valdez’s strong debut with the Detroit Tigers — six innings, one earned run and five strikeouts — one fan took the opportunity to take a shot at Webb and the Giants’ rotation.

“Giants fans scared him away and now we’re stuck with Logan Webb as our 1,” the fan wrote.

Webb saw it — and responded with just one word:

“Unfortunate!”

The comment comes as San Francisco has opened the season with back-to-back losses to the New York Yankees, including a rough Opening Day outing for Webb.

The right-hander allowed seven runs on nine hits over five innings, though he also struck out seven — including three-time AL MVP Aaron Judge three times.

Despite the tough start — and a 10.80 ERA through his first outing — Webb remains the clear ace of the Giants’ staff and one of the National League’s most reliable starters in recent seasons.

And if his response on X is any indication, he’s not losing confidence anytime soon.
