Former Kokomo Jackrabbit player Denzel Clarke made his MLB debut last week and got his first career hit on Tuesday of this week.
Clarke, who played for the Jackrabbits in 2019, was called up to the big leagues by the Athletics’ organization last week and made his debut against the Philadelphia Phillies on Friday. A center fielder, Clarke has appeared in five games through Wednesday’s game. On Tuesday, he got his first hit when he singled against the Houston Astros.
