The St. Paul Saints improved to 3-0 Sunday by defeating Indianapolis 4-1 to finish off a sweep of the host Indians.
Third baseman Ryan Kriedler led the path to victory by going 2 for 4 with two runs, one RBI and a fifth-inning homer, his first of the season.
Centerfielder Walker Jenkins also went 2 for 3 with one RBI.
Reliever John Klein earned the win with 2 1/3 innings of scoreless relief of starter Andrew Morris, while Grant Hartwig snagged the save after tossing a scoreless ninth.
The Saints host Worcester (1-2) in the team’s home opener on Tuesday, with first pitch scheduled for 6:37 p.m. at CHS Field.
