The Minnesota Twins will play the home opener on Friday against Tampa Bay.

The home opener game will take place Friday at Target Field against Tampa Bay. Before the game at 3:10 p.m., fans can head to the stadium early for celebrations.Â
Matt Hodson, director of business communications, visited KARE 11 News at Noon on Monday to share about the opening day festivities.Â
Before the work day, fans can get breakfast in front of Target Field from 6-9 a.m. Gates will open at 1 p.m. and the first 10,000 fans will get a Twins beanie.Â
Pregame celebrations include a ceremony to honor Minnesota Winter Olympians and Paralympians, and happy hour deals on food and beverages.Â
