Are the Milwaukee Brewers thinking statewide for a new outfit in 2026?
An image posted to X, purportedly the Brewers’ new City Connect jersey, suggests the team is placing an increased emphasis on its place in the overall Wisconsin ecosystem and not just its hometown.

A Brewers spokesman declined comment Monday, March 30 when asked if the jersey posted to X by user Steve Freed on Sunday, March 29 is indeed the jersey that has yet to be officially unveiled for 2026.
The Brewers retired their powder blue City Connect uniforms, first debuted in 2022, after the 2025 season, with the promise of a new design at some point this year.

The timing of the old City Connect uniform’s sunset aligned with the debut of another power-blue offering, part of the Brewers standard uniform rotation as the primary road uniform.
The potential new uniform for 2026 features “Wisco” in a script across the front, and the state motto “Forward” sewn into the collar. The dominant color looks similar to the “Great Lakes Blue” that the Milwaukee Bucks have used in alternate jerseys over the years.
The Brewers haven’t said when they’ll officially unveil the new look for 2026 or when the team will wear them.

Courting a statewide identity would represent a departure from the last City Connect look, which weaved the Milwaukee area code “414” into the city abbreviation “MKE” on the hat.
Based on historical Brewers attendance data from a 2020 study commissioned by the Metropolitan Milwaukee Association of Commerce, about 22 percent of ballpark event attendees are estimated to live within the city of Milwaukee, 38 percent within Milwaukee County and 86 percent within Wisconsin.
