GAINESVILLE, Fla. – The 2026 Florida High School Athletic Association baseball season will commence on Monday, January 12th with the first official practice/tryout date, however approved arm care conditioning programs may begin on Monday, January 5th. The road to a state championship in Fort Myers will get underway with the first regular season games allowed to begin on Monday, February 9th. The last allowable regular season game must be concluded by Saturday, April 11th. All post-season dates, as well as important information about the sport of baseball can be found below.

Quarterfinals: April 25th for Classes 1A-3A
Quarterfinals: April 24th for Classes 4A-7A
Semifinals*: May 1st & 2nd for All Classes, best of three series
Finals*: May 8th & 9th for All Classes, best of three series
*For best of three series, if necessary third game to follow as part of a double-header after the second game concludes
